To celebrate the launch of its limited-edition Squid Game bottle and mark the return of the hit Korean drama we teamed up with Johnnie Walker to create The Drop, an adrenaline-fueled experience that turned an ordinary billboard into a live-action survival game.
Taking inspiration from the spiced cookies paired with whiskey and mixing it with the show’s nail-biting Cookie Challenge, The Drop challenged brave fans to grab a cookie tin from the billboard and remove the delicate Johnnie Walker bottle in one piece before time ran out.
Those who won were rewarded with tickets to the Squid Game premiere and those who failed dropped to their fate. Literally.
Super fans flocked from across Europe to chip and chisel their way through the cookies and for a moment, licking cookies in public was somehow both cool and terrifying.
